How to activate Confidential Mode in Gmail

So Let’s See How To Use Confidential Mode In Gmail.

Perform The Following Steps:

1.Why Do You Use It? 

1: Built-in Information Rights Management (IRM) removes the option to forward, copy, download or print messages.

2:This helps reduce the risk of confidential information being accidentally shared with the wrong people    

          3:In addition to protecting sensitive content in your emails by creating               expiration dates, you can also require additional authentication via                 text message to view an email.

            4:This makes it possible to protect data even if a recipient’s email                       account has been hijacked while the message is active.

2.How to use Gmail Confidential Mode?

            When You compose an email, there is a button to enable confidential             mode for the email.

            Step 1 :- Web Browser->Login to Gmail->Compose New Mail->Click Lock                                icon(See bottom of your Message).

Step 2 : If You click on the button, it opens the Gmail confidential mode user settings dialog box where You can modify the settings.

Step 3  :- Select Expires option->For E.g,1 day,1 week,1 month or 5 years as per your choice

Step 4 :- One’s you selected the Expires option -> Open New Message Window,


After Turning On Confidential Mode

Additional details:

  1. Allow to set an expiration date for messages or revoke access at any time.
  2. Disable options to forward, copy, print, and download the email body and attachments.
  3. Allow  to set SMS passcodes wherein recipients will get a passcode by text message to be able to access the email sent using confidential mode.
  4. Choose to remove access early before the expiration date.

               Step 5 :- If you want SMS then select SMS passcode option,                                                    Registered your Mobile Number and add all Required detail.

                             As per SMS Send  to your given number,You Will receive a PIN                                  number on your Mobile.Enter that Pin Number and your Done.
